Sue's Pins & Needles began in 2003, ...... "but I cannot remember when I was not sewing for someone as a service, or for myself. I began making my own clothes, sewed for my family and made soft furnishings for my home. I've taught sewing classes, passing on this craft to a generation that does not grow up behind a sewing machine anymore."
Now that we are a busy customer-based business, one of the best features of Sue's Pins & Needles is the pleasure of working one-on-one with each client. "That's the 'personal touch' that I love".
The sewing studio initially fabricated to the trade. This transitioned into a retail workroom as Sue began working with her own clientele as an interior decorator, fabricator and designer. Primarily a retail workroom and upholstery shop now, our work routinely encompasses high-end fabrication of soft furnishings such as bedroom ensembles, drapes and valances, soft cornices, upholstery and slip-covers. Quality fabrics are also available.
